- Authored and implemented SDLC policies, processes and
operational procedures for large COTS software development
firm ensuring management governance and organizational
compliance. Product release deployments were substantially
enhanced and defect rates fell below 3%.
- Developed a Publishing Processing System (PPS) for a large
publisher of monthly trade as well as regional weekly penny-
saver newspapers with a combined work force of 260
employees. System applications included complete Accounting,
Payroll, Budgeting, Pension Management, Insert Orders,
Subscriptions, Mail List, Bulk Post Office Mailing, Distribution,
Layout and Classified Billing. Publisher expanded from seven
to 16 publications over an eight-year period and increased
circulation 300% without a single new hire in Accounting,
Subscriptions, Mail List maintenance, and Layout Billing.
- Developed a College Auxiliary System (CAS) for major
university campus with 7 thousand students. System included
Accounting, Payroll, Program and Agency Accounting, Student
Check Cashing, and Budgeting. No administrative personnel
increases were required with a 10 % annual growth rate over
ten years of system operation.
- Developed an Association Processing System (APS) and
installed for a Not for Profit organization. System included
Accounting, Mail List, POS, Inventory Control, and Sales
Analysis. Retail Gift store traffic exceeds 350,000 people
during 8 week holiday period. POS system installed processed
average sale in 90 seconds including credit-debit card charges
and personal check validation.
- Developed an Insurance Inspection System for a northeast
home inspection firm. System includes Inspection requests,
Billing, Inspector scheduling and tracking, Remote request
submission and Inspection Reporting. Organization processes
approximately 1,000-2,000 inspections per month.
